Hello. My name is Rob Price.
During my time in Worldline (2015-2020) and through my conversations with others that I have met over the previous few years, I pioneered (together with Christopher Joynson from Atos) the creation of the concept of Corporate Digital Responsibility. My previous roles in business were as
- COO and Deputy CEO at Worldline UK&I and
- CDO at Atos UK, and Managing Partner at Atos Consulting.
I have long been passionate about the impact of technology on the world, from the early 1980's where I used it to enable those with severe disability to communicate and learn more effectively through to driving Digital Transformation both within the organisation and with a range of national and international clients.
In 2008, I helped found the Atos blogging platform, shortly thereafter winning Computing "CIO Blog of the Year" award.
In 2016, I was named at #46 in the World's Top 100 Digital Transformation Influencers https://onalytica.com/blog/posts/digital-transformation-top-100-influencers-and-brands/
In 2017, I helped to found the concept of Corporate Digital Responsibility (CDR) as part of a track of research that I led called Digital Society - the impact of technology on society, and how we - as citizens and consumers - felt about it. The principle of CDR is to guide the behaviours of business and government such that there is a better and more equitable benefit across all of society, driving for positive outcomes for all rather than the few.
In 2020, noting that a number of other parties (business and academia) had their own research and progress in regard to CDR, I created this website and podcast series to share information between the growing community across the world.
As of January 2021, I am a Director at Alchemmy, a UK based Consulting business that specialises in Business and Digital Transformation.
